WPM
Proprietary WPM (Wireless Polling Mac) is a full featured TDMA/TDD protocol implementation on top of Atheros® AR5006XS hardware, using Packet Aggregation, Adaptive Polling Algorithm and disabling of the CSMA Back off Mechanism. WPM also provides link adaptation technology and improves bandwidth, robustness, and overall performance for each subscriber.
Speed
Up to 60 Mbps Full Duplex TCP/IP speed (or up to 100 Mbps Half Duplex TCP/IP speed) and up to 50000 Packets per second with operational distance of up to 50 kilometers (High Power Version) or up to 20 kilometers (Regular Power Version).
Interference Rejection
Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) for interoperability with co-located installation and user selectable channel width of 5MHz, 10MHz, 20MHz or 40MHz for scalable deployment and interference resiliency.

NLOS
Superior Atheros XR™ AR5006XS powered OFDM radio – enables NLOS (near line of sight) operation in dense urban environments with receive sensitivity down to -105dbm (over 20dbm better than 802.11b).
